OUR HISTORY

SeaPoint Ventures was formed in 1997 as a “point fund” for three national venture firms. From August 1997 through September 1999, the firm sourced, negotiated and directed Pacific Northwest investments for Oak Investment Partners, Sevin Rosen Funds and Venrock Associates. The success of this model established SeaPoint with a solid reputation in the technology and investment industries, regionally and nationally.

In 1999 the firm raised SeaPoint Ventures I and in 2001 raised SeaPoint Ventures II. SeaPoint continues to invest in seed and early stage technology companies located primarily in the U.S.
