At what stage do you invest?
We prefer to invest in early-stage companies as we believe this is where we can add the most value to a company given our operational expertise. However, we will consider a company at any stage.

How do I submit a business plan?
To submit a business plan to SeaPoint Ventures, please e-mail the plan to info@seapointventures.com. Please include who referred you to SeaPoint in your introductory letter. We request that you do not e-mail business plans to individual partners. Once we receive your information, we will contact you.

In what format should I send a business plan?
You may send your business plan and executive summary in Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint, or as a PDF.

What role does SeaPoint assume after the investment is made?
We take an extremely active role in our companies. In addition to taking a board seat, we dedicate our time, energy, and expertise to our companies. We put our deep understanding of the technical, strategic, and financial aspects of business to work for our portfolio companies, thereby adding years of operational and entrepreneurial experience to our companies’ executive teams.

Does SeaPoint have a specific geographic focus?
Although we are located in the Pacific Northwest, we will go anywhere for a great company.
